Favorite Post #3 - Baruch Haba HaShem Adonai

Olive Trees, Jerusalem, Israel

“Baruch Haba HaShem Adonai”. These are the words Yeshua is waiting for. Because when we all speak them, he will come again. He promises this is Matthew 23:39: “For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai' Baruch Haba HaShem Adonai.

Yeshua says this after He speaks in v. 37-38, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! See, your house (Temple) is left to you desolate.” And continues, ”For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Baruch Haba HaShem Adonai”

Yeshua sees what is happening. At this point in history, He knows the Temple is going to be leveled, and his people are going to be dispersed. It is coming soon. But as He prophesies this to His talmidim (disciples), he also promises that he will return. And when he does, he will gather His chosen ones to Jerusalem.

The pain and sadness he must have felt when he sat across from the Holy City on the Mount of Olives. He knew that after his life was sacrificed and he had ascended to Hashem, it would be a long, hard journey for his followers (and for those who chose not to trust in him). And here we are 2,000 years later, still trying to understand his teachings. Still comprehending his Words. And so, sadly, arguing with each other over who has the correct interpretation. If we would only read and study his Scriptures, we would know his plan and know how to pray. If we would only pray and seek him with all our hearts. Maybe, just maybe, that would speed up his return.

How very interesting that the Temple would be destroyed and his people exiled right after the Messiah visits. I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, his visit could have been perfect timing? Hashem knew it would take centuries for mankind to grasp His complete Truth, so He offered hope. Hope in the form of presenting His only unique Son, Yeshua. Hope to believe that he will fulfill his Word, and return to us forever.

The Temple was rendered invisible and then taken over by the enemy. Just like the enemy continues to try to steal our faith and the Truth. But Hashem's word is eternal and eternally faithful. The times we are in are coming to an end. And with my whole heart, as I have written many times, I believe when Hashem's people come back to the Torah and come back to Him, that He will inspire His Temple to be built in Jerusalem. His House. A place for Him to dwell in. It is time to take back what the enemy has stolen.

So, recently it dawned on me. We should be praying that any building on the Temple site that is not Hashem’s should be removed. That room should be made for His Holy Temple, the place where He will place His Name. We should be crying out to Hashem to rebuild His Holy Place so that He can send Yeshua the Messiah back to us. To rule and reign forever. Don’t you think this is a very, very important prayer?

And to complete this prayer, Yeshua gives us very specific words to say, “Baruch Haba Hashem Adonai!” Blessed is He who comes in the Name of Hashem. He tells us we will not see him again until we pray these words. My brothers and sisters, this is so critical. Let us begin today. Make a sign on your wall, your refrigerator, your Bible that quotes the words, “Baruch Haba HaShem Adonai.” Believe in Hashem, repent, and get ready, teshuvah. The Messiah will return!
